Kettering University
Kettering
University is a private, coeducational institution in Flint, Michigan. It was
formerly known as GMI Engineering and Management Institute. The school changed
its name to Kettering University in 1998. It was founded in 1919. Kettering
University confers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a variety of fields,
specializing in engineering and applied sciences. In addition to courses in
engineering and the applied sciences, courses of study include accounting,
applied math, business, computer and information sciences, environmental
sciences, industrial administration, and statistics. The school’s unique
schedule alternates 12 weeks of classroom instruction with 12 weeks of paid work
experience
